Hello, I'm Elisa, originally from Spain, and I've been living in Dublin for over 17 years. With a wealth of experience, I've worked extensively with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. As a mother myself to a delightful 5 and 2-year-old kids, I understand firsthand the joys and challenges of parenthood. Professionally, I am adept at creating tailored curriculum plans and organizing engaging daily activities for children. During the week, I manage a home-based childcare service, caring for five preschool-aged children. Additionally, on weekends, I am a Spanish teacher too! My passion for childcare and education is reflected in my dedication to providing enriching experiences for children under my care. Elisa Childminding Services was established in January 2016 by ELISA CHAVES Having cared for children for more than 12 years, by opening Elisa Childminding Services, in Castleknock , on Phoenix Park Racecourse has expanded to become one of the busiest and most loved childcare in the area with an over 2 years of waiting list. Elisa Childminding Services is a childcare based in an alternative education on a home care, love, guidance and encouragement. I teach children individually or through group activities in a cosy environment. A centre designed from babies up to 6 years old. I work together with parents to maintain a friendly, fun and educational environment where children feel at home. Elisa Home-School (Childminding Services) we are open from 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday, we are off every public Bank Holidays,Good Friday, two weeks in December one week of Easter & 1 month off in summertime.( Depending of cover staff or no), We have two minders at hand for 5 children. My Qualifications ✨Early Childhood Education Fetac ✨Montessori Mayor Award Fetac 6 ✨Special Needs SNA Fetac 6 ✨Child Psychology ✨Maternity Care ✨Spanish Teacher Qualification, by Cervantes Institute ✨ Garda vetted and First Aid Training ✨ My house is fully insurance up to 6 children I take a holistic approach to education mixing established and proven methods such as Waldorf and Montessori education along with my own personal touch, shaped with years working in Early Year Education. I seek to develop not only the children’s mind but also their character, compassion, and creativity. I focus on hands-on experience, freedom and choices for all my children, and I integrate story telling, fun activities, and handwork into their educational curriculum. I update talking to parents directly about our daily basis activities and I prepare a monthly observation about the children’s development. I would love to have a chat with the parents from time to time to plan and improve the children's development or concerns. Providing challenging and enjoyable experiences for all children is my goal so they can grow and develop as competent and confident learners within loving and nurturing relationships with others. I would like to help the parents to raise their children and for this reason in my house, I will work as a partnership with parents and I will look after each an individual child/parents needs.The materials and appropriate equipment (children ́s size) will be provided any time they need it and will be replaced when it is getting old or unnecessary for their age. I design a Monthly Curriculum Activity Plan based on Early Childhood Curriculum Framework (Aisteair and Siolta) and I will cover the following areas with the daily activities: Areas we are focus on: ✨ Well-being ✨ Identity and Belonging !"Communicating Exploring ✨Thinking Nature Environments. Other responsibilities will be : ✨Food & Snacks we eat I believe that a healthy mind need a healthy body. Nutrition is important. I provide with homemade, fresh meals made every day by myself. Everything we consume is based in a healthy & balance diet and I take in consideration personal intolerances, allergies, and their age: Lots of veggies, fruits and yummy shakes with coconut milk!. But from time to time they too deserve some chocolates and sweeties. During the day I provide: ✨Breakfast and morning snack ✨ Bottle time and evening snack I will update the children’s menus every month based in a healthy and balance diet (Breakfast, morning snack, lunch and evening snack will be included) Above all, your child’s welfare and your peace of mind is most important to me. We provide a warm, loving, home-from-home environment, where each child is treated with respect and will develop and learn at their own individual pace while feeling happy, safe and secure. Our own children attend Elisa Childminding Services and we only provide care for children at the standard we expect for our own! Full time prices: ● 675€ per week for 2 siblings Monday to Friday ● 340€ per week for one child Monday to Friday Part time prices currently unavailable All payments have to be done weekly in advance every Monday morning and two weeks refunded deposit will be charged on the booking day to secure the place.This fees will be refunded last week of the child in my services.
